Pizzerias

No longer famous; they had one of the first clay pizza ovens in town, but now that is the norm in Bucharest, and they have lost out big time to the competition. Still, it's well located, big and bright but the service remains oh, so, slow. Open 11:00 - 01:00.

New, good pizzeria from the Boccaccio people just down the road. It's nice - and refreshing - to see that they are keeping the pizzas seperate and distinct from their standard Italian restaurant, just as it should be done. €€€

An old favourite which distinguished itself by offering the first genuine pizza Calzone in the land, and it is still the best. For the old Bucharest hands who remember it from its opening eleven years ago, it has had a complete and necessary face lift. It’s good. €€
